This Les Jeux Monte Brison French Board game produced in the 1960's follows the adventures of Tintin in the 'Explorers on the moon' which was originally serialised weekly from Oct 52 - Dec 53 in the Tintin magazine.
This is the story of the young reporter Tintin, his dog Snowy, friends Captain Haddock, Professor Calculas, Thompson and Thompson who are aboard the first rocket to the Moon.
This rare board game consists of 10 playing pieces, Illustrated playing board, instructions ( French ), 5 dice, 12 radiogramme playing cards ( French), 25 Radioactivite playing cards ( French).
The original box is wonderfully illustrated as is the playing board.
The box is in good condition , the corners are split and the edges worn , with some water staining to the lid, this does not detract from the illustration.
The original instructions has been torn and re- taped, this is an old repair.
The playing board is in good condition with wear along the folds.
A rare early board game which would be a great addition to any Tintin collection.
