The Mettoy company started in 1933. In the 40's and 50's they produced a large range of die cast model cars and other vehicles which proved very popular.
This Mettoy tinplate 6 wheeled refreshment truck the colour of which has faded over the years has tin printed detail.
The motor is in working order with a permanent key, the rear door opens.
Overall length is 25cm.
Overall condition is fair with age related wear to the roof and one side.
